Our “Original r Spätzle” production began in 1965 with a stove, a pot, and an hourly output of about 3 kg of spätzle. While a lot has changed since 1965, we remain true to our company tradition: We do what we do right, with heart and mind. For us, “For the Love of Good Food” means taking pleasure in good food. Because we love pure and natural products with an authentic character that appeal to all our senses.

Schmid's No. 1 Ribbon Noodles “Extra Thin” (2 mm) 500 g

Our ribbon pasta is made using traditional methods, specifically by gentle rolling. This best preserves the pasta’s full flavor and aroma. Combined with only top-quality ingredients—such as SSSE-grade durum semolina and 6 grade-A eggs per kilogram of semolina—it achieves its appetizing color and always has the perfect “bite.” With their proven quality, our noodles have an excellent taste, hold their shape when cooked, and do not stick together.
